Mark Wagner, Fortune's Daughter: An Allegory of Prosperity, 2005
A really sharp work that's an offset lithograph presented in an accordion/map fold format of the original currency collage. Made from 200 dollar bills its size is 35"x14" and as Wagner points out on the back cover its reproduced here in a 0.4375 scale from the original which measures 80"x32". The work resonates on many different levels, not the least being the long history of the female nude in art and coupled with all the metaphors related to currency and you have a bookwork that's rich with all sorts of associations.
